My Dream. . .My Future

Everyone is given the right to build their own DREAMS. Dreams that would motivate us to keep on walking on the path we have chosen. Because dreams are very challenging . . . . Sometimes this would weaken us but this would strengthen us too. .

I still remember the first day I started my schooling. . . I was just a innocent, naive little girl. . . no expectations and NO DREAM AT ALL. . .! But as I continue my learning, I then realized I need to create my own dream. ..A dream where I would get my strength to pursue my education and be a respected individual SOMEDAY. ..

Then I graduated elementary . .

When I was still in my grade school days I dreamed to be a successful teacher. . .Teach young children and play with them. . .

But as I started my high school life, many things changes. . .To my way of communicating to others and how I cope up with them. From a simple, innocent LITTLE GIRL to a matured and well disciplined LADY. . .

High school life taught me many things. . My mind sharpened.. .I became more disciplined and became a BETTER individual.

Now I am about to reap all my sweats, my efforts and my time. . . Three weeks from now, I am about to graduate. I am about to leave my beloved school - Ilocos Sur National High School. And most significantly I am about to shaped my own FUTURE. First step is to choose what course shall I take. . And I made up my mind.

A TEACHER to a successful NURSE someday. . . .
---I want to be someone others would respect. . . Someone others would love. . .And something I really want. .

Dreams can never be impossible as long we have a strong determination, self discipline and effort. We could make excellent future as long as we won't forget to study hard and try to pursue our dreams come true. .. . . .

Change: It Starts With Me

They say that if you disregard things then they will remain as they are. Others say that if you leave things untouched, then you leave them to go through certain CHANGE. Well change ids the only constant thing in the entire human race. Because nothing is permanent, all things, so with humans undergo Change. And life wouldn’t be this astonishing if we didn’t learn to change our previous way of living which is somewhat boring and old-fashioned.

At present, we are living in a modern world. A world that is full of adjustments and transformation. There were lots of things that had been change – from our way of living to our own behavior. It is also true that nation is upgrading due to new discoveries. They have transformed our country into a better one. And because of newly born technology, we are now competing to other modern nations. In the past decades, power had lessen, boundaries between countries had disappeared but competition tightens, and some ideologies had also forgotten. We then prove that our dreary nation transformed into a progressive one.

But....Change starts with ourselves. First, we need to improve ourselves before persuading somebody to change. And the most valuable behavior an individaul must posses is - DISCIPLINE. We need to disciline ourselves in order to uphold this modern world we are experiencing right now. Because if we don't, maybe tomorrow all these precios things we have today will surely fade away...

. . .step forward. . .

I still remember the first day I entered this school as a senior student. I have no expectations. All I know is that, this school year would be the last step of my high school life. And I promised myself to enjoy yet try to focus more in my studies.

But time flies really fast. We are already beginning our Fourth Grading Period. I could still recall all those works I've done. Rushing all my projects just to pass it on time. I have also given all my efforts just to finish all those assigned tasks.Attending all my subjects but sometimes not listening to what my teacher is discussing. But I am always ready to learn though at times I don't really want being taught. That, i am trying to cope up with all my lessons. And I am grateful that I have terrific teachers who never let their students down. They never stop understanding, teaching and guiding us. If we don't understand some of their lesson they always try to explain it more. They are also trying to educate us the most consistent way to sharpen our own intelligence. They gave us strength and courage to strive more in order not to fail.

Every step implies a new step towards a good future. This quarter really required lots of sacrifices, struggle and time. But I could still say that those obstacles serve as an inspiration for me to live more bountiful and to make life better. I know that there is lot m0re challenges to cope with but I assure to handle them well.
Hoping to continue the good deeds I have started. . . . . . . .
Struggle must go on. . . . . to make a better opportunity for success to begin!!!!!

Season of LOVE!!!

Cold wind starts to blow. The whole world starts to brighten with lots of Christmas lights and many decorations. For Christmas is fast approaching. This season marks the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. All are rejoicing for this is one of the most significant and special day. But do we really know the true essence of Christmas?

People are busy beautifying their homes. Santa Claus – a fat jolly old man, which is considered as the embodiment of spirit of giving is being displayed. Brightly decorated Christmas trees, plenty of garlands, Christmas lights and ribbons are perceived everywhere. This is how Christmas usually being celebrated. But is this the real heart of Christmas? For me, NO! Christmas is not measured on how many colorful lights placed at home. Not with how dazzling those Christmas trees are. Not how luxurious your presents are. The spirit of Christmas is within our hearts. This season is usually characterized by gatherings among family and friends. For Christmas is an ecstatic time to reunite. Feasting is also being done. And most significantly, exchanging each presents. Some are also contributing their extra time to the needy and those who are homeless.

Christmas symbolizes love, caring and generosity. “It’s better to give than to receive.” But it is not those material things that are most important but it is on how a person show his or her love. For Christmas is love in action not only on words. I just wish we could keep the spirit of Christmas that everyday would be full of love. For each time you show your love to somebody, each time you share things, each time we forgive, it would always be Christmas. Because the real essence of Christmas is forgiving, giving and loving. This is the season of LOVE!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!^_^

Filipinos: BE STRONG!!!!

We – Filipinos are UNIQUE….No one will ever probably know who the real Filipinos are as much as the Filipinos themselves. Filipino values are given much importance and that , they are handed down from generation to generation. Undeniably, this has a great impact in the life of every Filipino.

Filipinos are known for their hospitality. If you happen to go places having its fiesta, Filipinos, without any hesitation, will invite you to come to their homes and offer you food and whatever you need. The only satisfaction they would want to have is to see a smile in your face. Filipinos are also respectful and therefore respected. They see the value in every person, realizing that every person has their own value. Because they extend respect and courtesy to others, that, others learned to respect them too. One way on how Filipinos show their respect is by saying “po” or “opo” to the elders. Filipinos are also said to have strong family ties. You will see the grandma's and grandpa's living in the house of their children who already have their own families unlike in other countries where people tend to bring their old parents to homes for the aged. Filipinos work to live and never live to work. We are aware that Filipino today is facing a big problem - POVERTY. But still they manage to be a good natured individual willing to help not only themselves but others too.

So as they struggle with this incredible dilemma they still turn to be a responsible ones finding simple joy enough for them to smile. Even though difficult times come, they still persevere to work. Problems arrive but Filipinos remain strong!

GOOD DEEDS!!!!

A little learning is a magnificent thing. There's a lot of things we ought to know. Yet time flies so fast. It seems like yesterday is only the first quarter, now second grading is over. We are about to start a new chapter. Well, I've lerarned a lot! Though I find it harder that the last grading, I still did my best. There - there's one thing I've learned. The distance doesn't really matter, it is only in the beginning that is the most difficult......

Everyday lots of knowledge were recorded into my crazy mind. I have so much things I've learned..Non-stop learning!!!...Everyday discussions and school works. Well thats my liabilities as a student. And I love what I'm doing...Through this, I was indeed a better individual now. I've also confronted some problems regarding my studies - so complicated. But for any problem, there is exactly one correct solution...Honestly, sometimes I think of myself as more capable of getting the right answer than my fellow classmates. That's SELFISHNESS!!..But as time goes, I learned to share some information to others and to seek help from them. As I looked at the right way, with the help of my teachers and friends and with my determination, I still managed to resolve them. Those would serve as a lesson for me to struggle more.

There'a a lot more to study......More knowledge to gain.....And I'll continue to strive for a better ME!!!!

GOODLUCK!!!!

Brilliant Mind........:))

“Education is indeed an admirable thing.” We must bear in mind that there’s no such thing that is worth knowing can be taught. I look back with gratitude and appreciation to a brilliant teacher who have touched my life and have been a part of it.

I’ve been one of her students before. One whom she shared her knowledge. One whom she showed her love and care. Each time we’re in class, she’s like a senior student anxious to teach her juniors. I may also say that she’s a MOTHER eager to help her children. Honestly, I considered her as my second MOM. She did good things not because of what it accomplish but because it is good to her especially to everyone. She awakens us with creative expressions and knowledge that made me grateful that once I’ve been in her class.

She taught me something I can’t forget. A simple quote that altered my being – “Learning is but an adjustment to oneself”. I promise her to strive more in my studies!!

HAPPY TEACHERS MONTH MA'AM!!!:)
